André 3000 身背钢琴、手持垃圾袋现身 Met Gala 红毯，瞬间吸引全场目光。向来避免直白宣传专辑的他，这次造型却暗藏推广意图。这位多才多艺的音乐人在踏上红毯前，揭晓了一个惊喜音乐项目 ——《7 piano sketches》。

André 在声明中透露：「这项目最初命名为《The Best Worst Rap Album In History》。」原始描述摘录写道：「它开玩笑地被称为史上最差的说唱专辑，因为完全没有歌词。但它又是最好的，因为它在情感上最自由，也是我个人感觉最好的作品。它像是一剂清新剂，对我来说意义非凡。」
